Manning, Jack. Jack Manning is a “brilliant, two-fisted scientist” who in his sole appearance discovers that one of the directors of the company for which Manning works is a Nazi agent, and a super-mesmerist to boot. Manning has no superpowers but has a great knowledge of chemicals, which he uses to help him. (The chemicals, like sulfur and nitric acid, are all around, waiting for Manning to make use of).
